019 “Restorative activities” simultaneously enrich the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual dimensions of ourselves. I estimate that finding an activity that develops all four at the same time would help about 75% of my patients.

While Mr. Jones is wounded and needs care, he can’t express himself very well and tries to push her away. She has the caregiver’s dilemma that every time she tries to help, she makes it worse. She even hurts him without knowing it which practically universal among PTSD caregivers. (hint: it’s not the caregiver’s fault)
