PTSD Academy does not sell customer information or send SPAM emails from 3rd party affiliates.
We use Aweber.com to manage our email newsletter, which keeps up with the current SPAM guidelines, laws and best practices. Some email newsletters that are a part of purchased products may contain a series of emails with valuable content related to the curriculum, but this will be advertised plainly and a confirmed opt-in is required to receive any of the automated emails. Major events, new course launches or other important announcements will be emailed on occasion and signing up on an email list constitutes consent to receive this email. You may unsubscribe from our Aweber emails at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of an email.
PTSD Academy does not save or store payment information.
Payment information, such as credit card data, is stored with the merchant accounts like PayPal or Stripe, which use encryption and leading cybersecurity technology. Therefore, security of payment information is the responsibility of the merchant account you choose to use at the time of purchase. We recommend using a personal credit card through PayPal for double security.
PTSD Academy does not publish sensitive, identifiable customer information.
Aggregate, de-identified data such as number of subscribers, average ages and demographics may be published, often after an electronic survey, in journals, special reports, podcasts, blog posts, videos, articles and advertisers. Submitting your information into a survey is consent to release your anonymous data for analysis and publication. (Anonymous data includes information such as age, gender, general location on the globe, improvements in quality of life, symptoms or relationships before and after using PTSD Academy curriculum, etc.) More private, sensitive data will not be released at any time but may be collected from time to time for system and product improvement purposes only.
